Fine gold checks across soft white cotton, finished with a border that carries every festive colour at once - teal, zari gold, green, coral and red. The traditional two-piece set mundu, woven the way Kerala has always worn it.

• Weave: Handloom, Balaramapuram
• Set: Two pieces - mundu (lower) and neriyathu (upper)
• Body: Off-white with all-over gold zari checks
• Border: Multicolour woven stripes - teal, gold, green, coral, red; wider on the mundu, narrower on the neriyathu
• Blouse: Not included
• Care: Dry clean recommended for the first wash; thereafter gentle hand wash in cold water separately, dry in shade, iron on medium with the zari face down
