1. Introduction

This policy explains what personal information ISHAARA collects when you visit or buy from this site, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it. The site is operated by ISHAARA FZE LLC, Ajman, United Arab Emirates, which is the controller of that information.

By using the site or placing an order, you agree to this policy. It should be read alongside our Terms of Service.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

Name, delivery address, billing address, email address and phone number.
Order details and order history.
Account details, including a password, if you create an account.
Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, the contact form or social media.
Media you send us in support of a refund claim — including the 360° unboxing video required by our Refund Policy.
Reviews, photographs and any other content you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically

Device and browser type, operating system, language and time zone.
IP address and approximate location derived from it.
Pages viewed, products opened, search terms, referring site and time on page.
Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.

Information from others

Payment confirmation and fraud-screening results from our payment providers.
Delivery status from our couriers.
Aggregate analytics and advertising data from the platforms listed in section 5.

We do not store your full card number, expiry date or CVV. Card details are entered into and held by the payment provider, not by us.

3. How we use it

To process your order, take payment, ship it and keep you updated on it.
To handle returns, refund claims and any dispute about an order.
To answer your questions on email, WhatsApp or the contact form.
To create and maintain your account.
To detect, investigate and prevent fraud and misuse of the site.
To send marketing — a periodic note when new pieces arrive — where you have signed up for it. You can stop these at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to us.
To understand how the site is used so we can improve it, our range and our service.
To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

4. Marketing messages

We only send marketing email or WhatsApp messages to people who have opted in. Every message carries a way to opt out, and opting out takes effect immediately. Messages that are strictly about an order you have placed — confirmation, dispatch, delivery, refund — are not marketing and are sent regardless.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the parties we need to in order to run the store:

Shopify — the platform this store is hosted on, which processes order and account data on our behalf.
Payment providers — to take and verify payment and to screen for fraud.
Couriers and logistics partners — your name, address and phone number, so the parcel can be delivered.
Email, WhatsApp and messaging providers — to send order updates and, where you have opted in, marketing.
Analytics and advertising platforms — usage data, as described in section 6.
Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where needed.
Authorities — where we are required to disclose information by law or to protect our legal rights.

If the business is sold or reorganised, customer information may transfer to the new owner as part of that transaction.

6. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, to remember preferences, and to measure how the site is used. Some are essential; without them checkout will not function. Others are analytics or advertising cookies set by third parties.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site. Advertising platforms generally provide their own opt-out controls in your account settings with them.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not currently answered by this site, as there is no common standard for them.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and the providers listed in section 5 operate servers in a number of countries. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside the UAE. Where that happens, we use providers who commit contractually to appropriate safeguards for the data they hold on our behalf.

8. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Account information is kept while your account is open. Unboxing videos and other refund-claim evidence are kept for as long as the claim, and any dispute arising from it, remains open. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.

9. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection and we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your account password to yourself and tell us at once if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.

10. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
Stop sending you marketing.
Restrict or object to certain uses of your information.

Write to us at the address in section 13. We may need to verify who you are before we act on a request, and we will respond within a reasonable period.

11. Children

This site is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party sites

Our pages link to other sites and platforms — social media, payment pages, courier tracking. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for what they do with your information.
